Query embeddings

Overview

This document outlines the steps to search through your cluster using both text and image queries. The cluster search functionality enables you to quickly find relevant entries within your cluster, facilitating efficient data retrieval and analysis.

To begin searching within a cluster, follow these initial steps:

  1. Access the Cluster Management Page: Navigate to the dashboard where your clusters are listed. Click on the three dots next to the cluster you wish to search and select the option to enter the cluster management page.

  2. Initiate Search: On the cluster management page, locate and click on the "Search" button. This action will open the search interface.

Cluster Search Interface

The search interface is designed to accommodate both text and image queries, organized into two tabs:

  • Text Search Tab: Allows you to search by entering text queries.

  • Image Search Tab: Enables you to search using an image as the query.

  1. Select the Text Search Tab: If not selected by default, click on the tab designated for text searches.

  2. Enter Your Query: In the text input field, type the keywords or phrases that describe the content you're searching for within the cluster.

  3. Execute the Search: After entering your query, press the "Search" button to initiate the search process. The system will process your query and display matching entries from the cluster.

  1. Select the Image Search Tab: Click on the tab dedicated to image searches.

  2. Upload Your Query Image: You can upload an image to use as the search query in two ways:

    • Drag and Drop: Drag an image file from your computer and drop it into the upload area.

    • Click to Upload: Click in the upload area to open a file dialog, then select an image file from your computer.

  3. Execute the Search: Once the image is uploaded, click on the "Search" button. The system will analyze the image and return entries from the cluster that are visually similar or relevant.

After either a text or image search, the search results will be displayed on the page. Each result will include a preview (text snippet or image thumbnail) and may include additional details such as the entry name and date added
